Everyday Hiring
The daily rhythm once setup is done.
Post a job
- Jobs → Create job. Fill in title, location, and description.
- If your company uses approvals, approve it under Approvals — it flips to PUBLISHED.
- Click Copy Job Link and share it anywhere. (The link works only while the job is PUBLISHED.)
Work your applicants
- Applicants shows every application, by stage: NEW → SCREENING → QUALIFIED → INTERVIEW → OFFER → HIRED / REJECTED.
- Open one to see their résumé, screening answers, and AI match score.
- Use the action buttons to advance the stage, send a screening questionnaire, or message them.
Interviews — candidates book themselves
- On an applicant, click Send interview invite. They get an email with a booking link.
- The link only offers times inside your Interview Hours (Hiring Setup → Interview Scheduling) and when your connected calendar is free.
- The booked interview lands on your calendar with a video-call link (Google Meet or Teams) already attached.
- Afterward, record the decision: Hired or Not Hired.
What "Hired" does
Marking someone HIRED automatically creates them in FirstDay to start onboarding — nothing to copy over. Their orientation sessions will appear on the same company calendar as your interviews.
When a candidate texts you
Conversations is the candidate texting inbox. The AI assistant answers routine questions itself; anything it can't handle is flagged needs a human (that's the badge count on the menu). Open the thread, read the whole exchange, and reply — your reply texts them from your business number.
Finding more people
- Talent Pool — everyone who has applied or joined your talent network; the matching agent continuously suggests fits for your open jobs.
- Each job's Suggested Candidates shows network members worth a look.
